Julie Koidin also performs in other ensembles which have different repertoire as part of their performance.
Since the 1990s, Julie has taken a particular interest in Brazil and Latin America, performing, teaching and researching music in over 26 trips since 1997 – including to Argentina and Ecuador.
As a result of her keen interest in “all things Latin American” – she has also founded other ensembles including:
Austin’s Caros Amigos (Brazilian Music)
and
Dois no Choro – touring group
